Analysing IIT JEE Main 2025 results in Sikar
The results of IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1 are out. And, from what we are hearing, IIT JEE Main results in Sikar have broken all records. Many coaching institutes in Sikar, which are among the top in the country and up-and-coming in the IIT JEE preparation scene, have given wonderful results.
What makes these results all the more important is the fact that Sikar has gradually but progressively become the centre of IIT JEE preparation in the country–it is second to Kota, but, as the numbers grow, it will soon be at the top.
It, therefore, is important we dive into how Sikar has performed in IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1. And, while we do so, we have a few observations to make.
1. IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1 Cut-Off
The cut-off for IIT JEE Main 2025 for deciding eligibility for IIT JEE Advanced 2025 will be based on numerous factors. While the cut-off has not been announced by NTA yet, certain estimates are available.
Based on the category the student belongs to, the cut-off is determined.
It is expected that the cut-off for the General category should be around the 91-95 percentile.
For EWS, around 79-83 percentile. For OBC-NCL, it should be around 77-81 percentile.
Students from the SC category should expect a cut-off between the 58 and 62 percentile.
The expected cut-off for ST candidates is estimated to be around the 44 and 48 percentile.
2. Matrix Sikar Creates History
The top IIT JEE coaching institute in Sikar, Matrix Academy, has yielded unprecedented results in Sikar and the country.
Breaking its record, Matrix Sikar now has more than 231+ students who achieved 99% above percentile. This is, incidentally, the highest number in Sikar itself.
Among the students, Gaurav Pareek tops the list with 99.985 percentile, followed by a horde of 6 students with the astounding 99.95 5 percentile and above.
Last year, 137 students crossed the 99 % percentile whereas the numbers show a significant jump this year. The following image is a list of students who are among the top rankers from the coaching.
3. Students from Other Sikar Coaching Institutes Shone
Matrix Academy Sikar takes the top spot, but a few other coaching institutes have managed to place their students in the top scorer list too. However, the gap between Matrix Academy and others is quite substantial.
Allen Sikar features the top ranker in IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1 in Sikar itself–Jay Agrawal. A total of 32 classroom students scored above the 99.5 percentile.
CLC Sikar’s results were laudable too, with Diya Sinwar scoring 99.90 percentile in the exam.
Students from Gurukripa JEE Academy Sikar had glittering results as well, with Abhishek Bansal ranking first among his coaching peers, with 99.98 percentile.
4. Girls charted high percentile in Sikar.
Representation of females in the IIT JEE exam has increased over time. A report suggests that the number of females qualifying for the prestigious IIT JEE exams has been steadily increasing.
In 2023, around 3, 359 girls were extended admission by the IITs; the number increased to 7,964 in 2024.
This year, Sikar has seen a positive performance from many female candidates in the IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1.
Kanak from Matrix Academy Sikar bagged 99.925 % percentile in the exam, followed by Saumya Sharma, with 99.70 % percentile and Sakshi, with 99.67 % percentile.
CLC Sikar has Diya Sinwar, with a whopping 99.90 % percentile.
At Guruprika JEE Academy, Kanika Gupta holds the top spot, with 99.38 % percentile.
Kautilya IIT JEE Academy has Pratibha Namdev, with 99.08 % percentile.
5. Factors Contributing to IIT JEE Main 2025 Success
Several factors have contributed to the success of Sikar coaching institutes in IIT JEE Main 2025. Whether it is Matrix or Kautilya, the quality of education offered at their centres matches the ones in other parts of the country.
These coaching institutes have seen rapid enrollment, considering the consistently good results in IIT JEE exams in the past.
Students comment that the quality of faculty instructors is very good and comparable to the ones in other parts of the country, especially Kota.
The infrastructure in these institutes is tech-friendly and has incorporated all measures to engage students in smart education.
Coaching institutes such as Gurukripa, Kautilya and Matrix have published high-quality study material which is on par with standard preparatory books and materials for IIT JEE.
Conclusion
Results are pouring in. We are getting to know about how the students fared in IIT JEE Main 2025 Session-1.
However, from whatever results we know about Sikar and its coaching institute, Matrix Academy ranks first, whose achievements are historic for any coaching institute in Sikar. The results are comparable to only a few institutes in the country. Other institutes such as Allen and CLC have seen a significant jump among high percentile scorers.
Sikar, Rajasthan is a very small city that has emerged as the face of IIT JEE and NEET preparation in the country. In 2023, NEET UG results in Sikar were on par with those in Kota; it is only a matter of time before Sikar overtakes every other city in IIT JEE–and the results are strong.
